Wind Energy
As part of its commitment to Wind Energy as an important source of Nova Scotia’s Renewable Energy Future, the Department of Energy hosted key players from across the province that play a role in the development of Wind Energy. The purpose of the day was to inform a collective response to public concerns around Wind Development.
Over 50 diverse stakeholders came together from Industry, NGOs, Academia and all levels of government to understand concerns, share perspectives and develop strategies to support responsible Wind Energy Implementation. It was a lively day of discussions leading to several clear outcomes that were broadly supported and owned by the participants.
